The Khan Lab in the UCSF Department of Laboratory Medicine is recruiting one Staff Research Associate (SRA) to assist and potentially lead ongoing collaborative cellular engineering projects within the Gladstone-UCSF Institute of Genomic Immunology. Our lab studies fundamental T cell immunology using animal models and in vitro assays and develops novel genetic and epigenetic tools and synthetic proteins to reprogram primary human immune cells for therapeutic applications. Our goal is to develop effective strategies to treat cancer, infectious disease and autoimmunity. SRAs will be responsible for assisting with various research efforts using cutting-edge CRISPR engineering tools, genetic and epigenetic screens, and a variety of novel cell and gene therapy manufacturing strategies.
