Job Description

A critical liaison between the client and agency services team, the RRD GO Creative Account Director will lead the project management and creative team in the solutioning, concepting, design, and execution of circular, in-store signage and ad hoc work. This role will provide strategic thought leadership to the client and excel in aligning personnel and processes for the on-time and accurate delivery of agency services projects. He/she must have experience with marketing design including customer insights, business strategy, print and digital design, and production. He/she must have the ability to work creatively within a corporate brand and a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to commute to the Phoenix, AZ location

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM (must be able to work overtime as needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture client relationships and identify growth opportunities for the account.
  • Lead client print and digital campaign strategies by understanding the client's design needs and methodology.
  • Solves business challenges through marketing solutions and smart, creative design
  • Maintain and enhance the client's identity by working creatively within the corporate Brand guidelines
  • Manage the project management, design and production teams to identify project needs and create finished deliverables to support the businesses and marketing objectives of the client's brand strategy.
  • Responsible for maintaining creative concepts, keeping them on strategy, meaningful and visually impactful
  • Create a strategy to develop high-performing teams, coach and train team members
  • Assist the leadership team with recruiting new talent, developing training/orientation materials, and addressing performance concerns
  • Collaborating with the General Manager and Associate General Manager to develop strategy, best practices and standard operating procedures across the entire operation
  • Provides production oversight to ensure technically correct, print-ready mechanicals for release
  • Takes ownership, leads initiatives, and successfully executes through all stages of creative development on target, on time, and on budget
  • Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and capital project requests
  • Monitoring financial targets and ensure they are achieved on a monthly basis
  • Effective communication with peers, senior management, and clients across all topics from business to creative
  • Works to mentor and coach team members through performance evaluations and real-time feedback
  • Maintaining open communication with employees, managers and clients
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum 5 years of relevant industry BPO work experience
  • Previous experience/general understanding of client-focused solutions and account management
  • Strong project management experience, and knowledge including strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing
  • Experience presenting/pitching concepts to internal clients and external customers and sourcing vendors
  • Retail, agency, or in-house corporate design experience preferred
  • Domestic and international Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with project management and/or soft proofing tools preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that handles time-sensitive and secure transactions
  • Must possess strong people management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
  • Detail-orientated and able to support a team of client service specialists
  • Excellent writing skills are essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including a firm and patient demeanor
  • Ability to anticipate customers' needs and match them with appropriate products and services
  • Ability to lead teams & collaborate with varying internal and external clients
  • Enthusiasm, aptitude, organizational skills and a willingness to learn

Additional Information

This role is salary plus incentive program eligible and the current RRD salary range is $118,000 to $130,000 per year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future.At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
