Description

ECC (www.ecc.net) is seeking a General Clerk III for the summer of 2026. ECC is a federal government contractor performing repairs to multiple buildings and the overall project scope may include roofing, mechanical, elecrical, structual, interior finishes, fencing. As a General Clerk III you will work with our management team and be responsible for performing basic duties expected on a large construction project. In this position, you will

  • Use some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence.
  • Selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures.
  • Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records (stored both manually and electronically); verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness; compiling information; and handling and adjusting complaints.
  • Use a thorough knowledge of an office's work and routine to: 1) choose among widely varying methods and procedures to process complex transactions; and 2) select or devise steps necessary to complete assignments.
  • In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Education: This position requires a high school diploma

The hourly rate is $19.32 per hour, plus H&W of $4.93 per hour up to 40 hour per week. SCA pay and benefits.
