ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Financial Coordinator to join our Revenue Operations team. In this highly visible, patient-facing role, you will act as a key liaison between patients and internal teams - helping patients understand their insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and next steps in their care.

You'll play an essential role in ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, removing barriers to treatment, and delivering an exceptional patient experience at every touchpoint.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct insurance benefit verifications, including eligibility and cost-sharing analysis
  • Communicate with patients via phone and other channels to gather information and provide updates
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and account updates
  • Assist patients with questions related to insurance coverage, billing, and financial processes
  • Support team coverage and contribute to a collaborative, service-oriented environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare, customer service, or a patient-facing role
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate challenging situations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes
  • Experience with CRM systems, SAP, or similar tools
  • Background in healthcare revenue cycle, insurance verification, or patient access

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary + bonus + equity opportunities
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Career growth in a mission-driven, innovative healthcare company
