The Bloch School enrolls approximately 2000 undergraduate and graduate students and also offers extensive non-credit programming through executive and continuing education. The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications for a non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor position from outstanding candidates with expertise in AI, management of information systems, and business software tools. A focus on how AI can be leveraged to improve business processes and efficiently use business software is critical.

• MBA or related graduate degree (including a PhD or DBA) where the business school is accredited by AACSB or EQUIS with significant coursework in areas related to expected teaching assignments.
• For candidates with a MBA or MS degree, at least 5 years of professional experience in areas related to expected teaching assignments. .
• Experience, professional engagement, and/or research must allow for candidate to meet AACSB faculty qualifications.
• Evidence documenting expertise relating to how AI can be leveraged in the business, business software applications, and information system.
• Candidates must be able to demonstrate competencies critical for instructional effectiveness, the ability to address the needs of students from across a broad portfolio of programs and from different backgrounds, and the capacity to utilize different teaching modalities.

This is an Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor position and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a 9-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointment. Initial appointment is for the 2026-2027 academic year.
