Job Overview:

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for the accurate handling, preparation, and shipment of production materials and finished components. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring parts, kits, and assemblies are properly handled, protected, and delivered on time. The position requires hands-on material handling, forklift operation, crate building, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform material handling activities, including receiving, moving, staging, and issuing parts and components.

  • Operate forklifts and stand-up lifts safely to transport materials within the facility.

  • Apply Aeroply protective coverings to rotors according to work instructions and quality standards.

  • Pick and build kits to shipping and balance operations.

  • Build and prepare shipping crates for rotors, inlets, and other components.

  • Prepare parts for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and securing materials.

  • Support shipping and logistics functions, including staging outbound shipments and coordinating with shipping personnel.

  • Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation.

  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational needs.



Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years' experience in material handling, shipping, or warehouse operations.



Key Competencies:


  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs with reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment for extended periods.

  • Comfortable working around large components such as rotors and inlets.

  • Manufacturing and warehouse environment.

  • Exposure to moving equipment and industrial materials.

  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).



Preferences:


  • Willingness to operate forklifts and stand-up lifts

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, pick lists, and shipping documentation.

  • Basic math and organizational skills.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with protective materials such as Aeroply or similar products.

  • Crate building or packaging experience for large or precision components.

  • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.




Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

This position will be based at our site in Mocksville, NC, with no anticipated travel.
