Texas Oncology is looking for a full-time Remote Senior Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization & Patient Assistance Financial Counselor to join our team! This position will support all Texas Oncology locations. What does the Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization & Patient Assistance Financial Counselor do? The Pharmacy Technician - Prior Authorization & Patient Assistance Financial Counselor increases patient access and adherence to medically necessary pharmaceuticals by managing patient's insurance benefits and utilizing established patient assistance programs. Provides value-added services by developing client-based relationships with clinical staff and patients, presenting pharmacy service options through customized financial analysis, and facilitating information gathering for program enrollment (patient assistance and indigent programs). Supports and adheres to US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics Business Standards. Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities (included but not limited to):
