About the Role & Team

Team Periscope operates at the intersection of data, strategy, and execution within Revenue Operations, driving initiatives that directly impact organizational performance. By leveraging analytics and strategic insights, our team fosters operational excellence and supports transformative projects that align with our mission to optimize the revenue cycle and deliver exceptional results.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making and operational improvements. This role requires a strong technical and analytical foundation, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations and effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Lead Complex Analyses: Proactively monitor the team's book of business outcomes to identify opportunities for revenue optimization, operational efficiencies, and process improvements.
  • Root Cause & Solution Analysis: Synthesize findings through root cause analysis and deep-dive data analytics to develop, pitch, and initiate process improvements in areas with the most significant impact to the organization.
  • Dashboarding & Visualization: Design and maintain dashboards and data visualizations in Excel and Tableau to enhance transparency and drive self-service analytics.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Serve as a subject matter expert on data sources and analytics tools, supporting ad-hoc analytics requests and continuously researching innovative approaches to advance analytical capabilities.

Project Management

  • End-to-End Execution: Initiate and drive work streams from start to finish-encompassing data gathering, implementation, and post-implementation plans.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain robust project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, timelines, and executive goals.
  • Impact Calculation: Calculate project impact to Yield, Bad Debt, and overall Return on Investment (ROI) to measure success.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Executive Presentations: Present insights, project updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders, including high-visibility presentations to VPs and above.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Meet regularly with business partners and impacted teams to maintain relationships, provide high-level updates, and facilitate project next steps based on data-driven findings.
  • Mentorship: Support the development of junior team members, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, data science, healthcare, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or related roles (recent graduates with strong project experience will be considered).
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical and statistical understanding with proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel, as well as visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to conduct and interpret complex quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience creating and delivering executive-level materials.
  • Autonomy & Multitasking: Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business, data analytics, healthcare, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, Netezza, Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling).

The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00/year.
