Senior Engineering Test Technician - Onsite

Contract Details:



  • 6-month contract to start, onsite.
  • Pay Rate: $42/hr.
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM



We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineering Test Technician to join our Systems Engineering team, supporting the development of next-generation medical devices. In this role, you will assist engineers in testing, validating, and documenting innovative electrophysiology catheter systems. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute test methods for product and system verification.
  • Perform benchtop and system-level testing, including catheter setups, fixture assembly, and precision alignment of electro-mechanical components.
  • Operate computer-controlled test platforms, configure test parameters, and analyze data using Linux command-line tools.
  • Conduct product characterization to verify quality, performance, and functionality.
  • Maintain a well-organized lab, ensuring equipment readiness and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare accurate technical documentation and standardized test reports.
  • Follow company quality policies and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and product excellence.



Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years in medical device development or a regulated industry; technical post-secondary education preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience with electro-mechanical devices and lab instrumentation.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent technical work.
  • Proficient with Linux-based test systems and command-line data tools.
  • Knowledge of GLP, validation protocols, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
