AI Product Manager

About the role

We're looking for an AI Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our AI-powered products. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering, design, data science, and business - translating customer needs and model capabilities into products people actually want to use. This role suits someone who's comfortable with the messiness of probabilistic systems and excited to ship in a fast-moving space.

What you'll do

Define and own the product vision and roadmap for one or more AI products or features, balancing user value, technical feasibility, and business impact. Partner closely with ML engineers and researchers to scope what's possible, set realistic expectations around model behavior, and make tradeoffs between accuracy, latency, cost, and effort. Write clear specs and evaluation criteria - including how you'll measure quality for outputs that don't have a single "correct" answer. Run discovery with customers to validate problems before committing engineering time. Prioritize ruthlessly, communicate decisions and their rationale across the org, and define the metrics that tell you whether the product is working. You'll also help shape responsible-AI practices: surfacing risks around bias, safety, hallucination, and misuse, and building guardrails into the product rather than bolting them on later.

What we're looking for

3+ years in product management, with at least some exposure to AI/ML products or data-heavy products. You don't need to train models, but you should understand how they work well enough to have credible conversations with engineers - concepts like training vs. inference, evaluation, fine-tuning, prompting, and where models tend to fail. Strong product fundamentals: user research, prioritization, writing crisp specs, and working backward from outcomes. Comfort with ambiguity and probabilistic systems, since AI products rarely behave deterministically. Solid analytical skills and fluency with data. Clear written and verbal communication, especially the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.

Nice to have

Experience shipping LLM-based features, hands-on familiarity with prompt engineering or eval frameworks, a background in design or engineering, or domain expertise in our market.
