Experienced Medical Office Manager - Lead Biller 3+ years of recent medical office management experience Hiring, training, managing and onboarding staff Handling employee relations Completing insurance claims Credentialing of physicians Strong Accounts Receivable experience QuickBooks Experience Knowledge of insurance carrier payment policies, practices, and amounts Medical Billing experience - will also be lead medical biller Handling reconciliations Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding systems Ability to read and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOB's) Handling insurance verifications Experience with OSHA and HIPPA regulations Must have experience with billing and reconciliations DUTIES: The Medical Practice Office Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Recruit, train and manage staff Onboard new employees Handle credentialing of physicians Scheduling and coordinating appointments Verifying patient insurance Complete and submit insurance claims Oversee billing, coding, and collections Schedule appointments Maintain medical records Reconcile account information Pay office bills Submit billing statements to patients Delegate responsibilities Assess employee performance Perform data entry and processing Develop and implement office policies and procedures Maintain and order office inventory Provide educational material for patients Comprehensive knowledge of all procedures, systems, and equipment used as well as a high level of proficiency in data entry, data control, and scheduling and processing of batch work at a level generally acquired during two to three years medical billing experience Maintain cooperative working relationships with department personnel, including staff and physicians, and outside personnel including patients and third-party payers Requires knowledge and ICD-10 medical coding and familiarity with referral authorizations and third-party billing procedures Daily entry of charges and posting of receipts Communicating with insurance companies and customers to resolve issues related to insurance claims, submission of payments, as well as requesting information needed to complete account transactions, addressing urgent requests and/or resolving outstanding account issues Insurance benefits verification and authorization Data entry and electronic claim filings Experience with out of network claims and appeals Following up on claims, denials and rejections, and resolving issues Writing claim appeals Hands-on experience in CPT/ICD codes, insurance reimbursement process, electronic claim submission, follow-up and collection, EOB Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
