As a Security Officer Reception Console in Goose Creek, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Professional at a dynamic location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific policies, managing front desk activities, and supporting access control procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document visitor and/or delivery activity in accordance with site protocols and front desk procedures.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts as needed.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and assist with general front desk inquiries while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns at the location.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including reporting concerns, following post orders, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
