As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support security-related operations with integrity, reliability, and teamwork while contributing to a caring, agile, and innovative culture.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit platforms, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Assist with security-related screening, credential verification, and controlled access functions while maintaining a professional presence and supporting order throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of experience in military police, corrections officer, or armed security roles, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
