Responsibilities

You will be a part of our growing operations team that has a wealth of experience in providing services to a global institutional market place. This is an opportunity for an individual looking to take the next step in their career.

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations of a set of client in support of the firm's institutional transfer agency and fund-of-fund administration business lines. You will have primary ownership of a group of clients and set of deliverables.

  • Perform review and reconciliation of daily transactions, ensuring accurate calculation of fund prices and cash movements are in balance
  • Ensure daily, accurate, and timely delivery of daily reporting and processes
  • Provide superior customer service to assigned clients
  • Identify, research and solve problems that may arise
  • Build expertise within the Investment Services team
  • Proven ability to re-prioritize based upon client deadlines
  • Work closing with internal operations and systems teams to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Perform monthly close process and exceed deadlines based on management direction
  • Pro-actively respond to client inquiries
  • Work effectively with internal departments to prioritize client requests, deliverables and issue resolution
  • Assist senior team members in the preparation and implementation of client conversions
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • 1 to 3 years of Fund Accounting, transfer agency or processing experience in financial services
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline oriented environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong ability to apply analytical skills to data, work flows numeric information and problem solving
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
