Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new inspection and monitoring opportunities.
  • Identify and prospect new customers through networking, cold visits, association involvement, lunchandlearn presentations, and other business development activities.
  • Complete monthly, facetoface Customer Connection Rotations (CCR) for each assigned target account.
  • Build and execute strategies to grow market share within the branch's preferred vertical markets.
  • Establish and strengthen internal branch relationships to identify, develop, and leverage potential leads.
  • Coordinate with customers to schedule and complete site surveys using established company systems and processes.
  • Conduct thorough onsite surveys of mechanical systems within customer facilities.
  • Prepare accurate, professional, and highquality customer proposals. Seek internal support as needed to address customer questions, issues, or terms and conditions.
  • Present proposals to customers in person whenever possible to clearly communicate scope, value, and next steps. Follow up to address questions and secure signed agreements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of leads, opportunities, customer interactions, and account activity.
  • Record monthly target account connections using the company's mobile application and CRM tools.
  • Develop and manage a list of target accounts, in collaboration with branch leadership, for monthly customer connection rotations.
  • Report on sales performance, forecasts, target account progress, action items, strategies, scheduled activities, and development or support needs.
  • Balance shortterm results with longterm account development to support branch objectives, meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals set by leadership.
  • Leverage the business plan to identify target vertical markets, sales strategies, and priority accounts.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine strategies to maintain a focused and effective market approach.
  • Take ownership of personal professional growth by pursuing opportunities to strengthen sales, communication, industry, and leadership skills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Education & Experience



  • Three years or more of sales experience, preferably in mechanical services, life safety systems, facility services, or related industry, is required.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and assess customer needs in order to develop effective service proposals.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and commercial, mechanical, or related service contracts, is preferred.


Other Details:



  • This position will office in Windsor, CO and support regional territory.
  • This position will work closely with Mechanical Inspection Sales Leader to align support with priorities.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license along with the willingness and ability to regularly travel.

  • Meets or exceeds new preventative maintenance contract sales, proposals, and customer connections goals.
  • Tracks all customer connections, proposals, and wins via CRM.
  • Having regular face-to-face visits with existing customers.
  • Commitment to speaking with customers with aged receivables.
  • Being a relentless pursuer of knowledge about emerging technologies in the industry, including updated policies and regulations in your market.
  • Regularly participate in your own development/seek learning and development opportunities.
  • Actively participating in at least one local trade organization.

Compensation & Benefits:



  • The expected annual compensation range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 plus incentive. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
