The opportunity Adobe Design is looking for a Staff Designer to join our Platform Design team, a group crafting the foundational experiences that power how individuals and businesses access, manage, and use their Adobe products and services. In this role, you'll build essential storage and administrative workflows, impacting how millions of people engage with Adobe products every day. This isn't just a design role.   • Simplify. Translate complex user needs into practical design solutions that are grounded in user research and data.
  • Influence. Demonstrate thought leadership through collaboration and workshops with engineering, product, and design leadership.
  • Growth Mindset. Stay curious, informed, and adaptable in the ever-changing landscape of AI and new technologies. Proactively seek opportunities to mentor and receive feedback.
  • Think in Systems. Connect patterns across touchpoints and technologies to build cohesive end-to-end experiences spanning apps, teams, and workflows.
  • Explore. Bring fresh perspectives by crafting delightful experiences for admins, teams, and enterprises.
  • Lead. Inspire teammates and forge relationships across the company.
What you need to succeed
  • Experience working with complex disparate experiences, and crafting a unified experience that meets customer and business objectives.
  • Able to balance speed and rigor, pivot directions, and seek solutions in creative ways. Dives into the details to drive tough decisions forward.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and visual storytelling) to influence and align teams, and confidence in presenting and articulating design strategies to partners at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. Able to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and keep multiple initiatives moving forward.
  • Exceptional visual, interaction, and prototyping design skills with keen attention to detail. Experience with Cursor.ai or other AI-powered design, prototyping, and collaboration tools.
Preferred Accessibility Design Skills:
  • Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
  • Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, specifically testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.
  • Accessibility certifications CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP preferred.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $146,300 -- $274,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $189,400 - $274,300

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
