Summary of Position

The Associate Practice Manager for Urgent Care (24/7) Service Line will lead a team of care and practice coordinators toensuretheday-to-daysuccessof a 50 state-licensed telemedicine practice with medical providerslocatedremotelynationwide. The Associate Practice Manager works alongside thepractice and clinical dyad leadership teams to ensure efficient team workflows, maintain operational standards, and drive high-quality care coordination to support optimal member experience in our daily care delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the operations of the Urgent Care (24/7) service line through:

  • Managing daily operational workflows to ensure practice readiness, service-level performance, and achievement of departmental KPIs.

  • Ensuring adequate staffing and provider coverage through proactive scheduling management, workforce planning, and gap analysis.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for operational and interdepartmental escalations, including scheduling, onboarding, licensure, technical issues, and real-time problem resolution.

  • Leading licensure operations, including oversight of ~9,000 W2 licenses, while driving process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and scalability.

  • Supporting multi-region provider onboarding and ensuring ongoing provider readiness, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.

  • Acting as a subject matter expert and trusted operational resource for the 24/7 team and cross-functional internal partners.

  • Partnering cross-functionally to ensure providers feel supported in their day-to-day virtual care practice.

  • Leading change management efforts for operational processes and communicating updates effectively to staff.

  • Identifying, recommending, and executing process and clinical workflow improvement initiatives.

  • Representing Teladoc Health professionally in communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications Expected for Position:

  • 3+ years of clinical operations experience within related industry.

  • Outpatient experience is highly desired.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead change in afast-pacedgrowing organization.

  • Position relies heavily upon communication; must have excellent oral and written communication skillsin order tosucceed.

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment and to be able to meet deadlines under extreme pressure.

  • Must be well-organized anda self-motivator.

  • Works well with others and is a team player.Interactseffectively with staff, employees, managers, and clinicians.

  • Computer skills:mustbe able to generate reports and documents.Ability to navigate technical challenges and operate within multiple EHRs, as this person will be the one to help clinicians troubleshoot as needed.

  • Standard Monday-Friday workweek with flexibility in scheduling to support work across multiple time zones.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

The base salary range for this position is$70,000-80,000/year.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed hereTeladoc Health Benefits 2026.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

We follow a Flexible Vacation Policy, intended for rest, relaxation, and personal time. All time off must be approved by your manager prior to use. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only.
