Job Summary Under the supervision and direction of the EH&S Department head, the EH&S Assistant primarily performs administrative duties for Institute safety and occupational health programs. This includes database management, record keeping, filing, organization of various EH&S programs and support toward development of department initiatives. Additional technical duties include inspection monitoring of building safety equipment and emergency management coordination support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leveling Requirements 0-2 years' experience in an office or professional environment required. Experience in the EH&S or Occupational Health is preferred. Educational background in scientific or public health strongly desired. Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer proficiency required; experience with database management systems preferred. Proven sound judgement and commitment to customer service.
