The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Ensures the appropriate continued flow of equipment and instrumentation through SPD. Adequately plans, requisitions, stores and consults with the Operating Room Service Leaders and nursing personnel. Coordinates SPD activities with nursing staff and service leaders and develops timely, in-depth problem resolutions. Cooperates and consults with the Materials Manager to maintain equipment and supplies and in the evaluation of these items. Provides input in interviews of new applicants for department positions. Maintains quality processes on all shifts; provides training, performs annual Competency Assessments and assists with evaluations for department staff. Assists with Quality Improvement processes. Coordinates all SPD staff activities to consistently accomplish department goals. Qualifications:
