Summary

The Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to the company's logistics operations through reporting, forecasting, financial modeling, and general ledger activities. Responsibilities include revenue recognition, account reconciliations, month-end close, inventory reconciliation, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost savings.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned month-end close and reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Prepare monthly profit center reports, variance analysis, and budget performance updates for management.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, maintain controls, and reduce losses.
  • Perform account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, financial policies, and reporting procedures.
  • Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and performance tracking against key business metrics.
  • Coordinate with global finance teams to ensure consistent processes and timely consolidated reporting.
  • Partner with department leaders to support company objectives and respond to finance inquiries.
  • Prepare management presentations, ad hoc reports, and stakeholder reporting.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; accounting background preferred.
  • 2-5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in logistics, manufacturing, or inventory-driven environments.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • ERP experience required; SAP preferred.


Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to turn large financial data sets into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
