MRI Tech

Part Time 24 hours/week - Sat and Sun 7am - 7:30pm

Call and Holiday Rotation

Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of patients for medical interpretation.

Job Duties:

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images of the body according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Perform basic image processing techniques such as windowing, reconstruction, and multiplanar reformatting to enhance visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities.
• Assist radiologists and physicians in image interpretation.
• Position patients appropriately on the MRI table and provide instructions for maintaining stillness during the examination to minimize motion artifacts.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by (ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
• Registered by the ARRT required
• Military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program can substitute for Associate degree requirement
• BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Requirements:

• Two years' experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred
