Professor Bonnie Klimes-Dougan is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to investigate typical and atypical emotional development in adolescence, with a focus on mood conditions and risk for self-harm. Opportunities may include working with large data sets focused on brain development (e.g., ABCD study), incorporating designs that focus on both risk and protective factors, and applying advanced longitudinal statistical skills. Individuals will be able to avail themselves of resources in the Department of Psychology, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Biostatistics, CMRR, etc., at the University of Minnesota, where vibrant collaborations have been ongoing for the past two decades in the context of the Research on Depression Lab to advance the understanding of and methods to alter adolescent depression.
