We're seeking a Field Execution & Construction Engineer to serve as the critical link between design and on-site delivery. In this role, you'll ensure complex industrial projects are executed with precision, safety, and efficiency-making a direct impact on project success from day one.

Hours and Pay



  • Pay: $55.00 - $60.00/hour (based on experience) + Per Diem
  • Schedule: Project-based; extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Position Type: Contract

What You'll Do



  • Provide on-site technical engineering support during construction to resolve real-time challenges
  • Bridge design and execution by ensuring engineered plans are implemented accurately in the field
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to align with site conditions
  • Guide field crews, subcontractors, and supervisors with technical direction and problem-solving support
  • Identify and resolve design or construction conflicts with practical, field-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain workflow and meet milestones
  • Track daily progress, field changes, and deviations; maintain accurate as-built documentation
  • Conduct field inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project standards
  • Participate in site meetings to address risks, timelines, and project status updates
  • Support commissioning, startup, and performance testing of industrial systems and equipment
  • Redline engineering documents based on field changes and evolving conditions
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation as needed



What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial construction, field engineering, or similar technical roles
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, power generation, oil & gas, data centers, water treatment, or large-scale systems preferred
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and P&IDs
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex technical issues on-site
  • Willingness to travel and remain onsite for the duration of the project
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and varying shifts based on project demands
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically active tasks (standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
