What You Can Expect

The Partnership Management Senior Contracts and Reporting Analyst (Houston, TX) is an integral part of the Partnership Management Team. In this role, you will help maintain partner relationships by producing agreement-required reports and deliverables, organizing and retaining documents per company policy, refining and automating recurring processes to support scalable operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet partner requirements, and reviewing contracts to ensure compliance.

The Partnership Management Team at ENGIE oversees multiple partnerships across our 11 GW operational fleet of wind, solar, and battery storage assets in the United States and Canada. These assets operate across several Independent System Operators (ISOs), including ERCOT, SPP, PJM, and MISO. Partnerships are expected to expand with continued growth of ~1 GW per year over the next several years, including expansion into new ISOs and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of key reports to partners, including yearly budgets, board materials, and monthly operating reports
  • Coordinate cross functionally to respond to partner inquiries and ensure budgetary compliance with partnership agreements
  • Implement tools to track and automate compliance and reporting processes
  • Develop a strong understanding of partnership agreements and communicate key contract terms, including contract briefs effectively within the organization
  • Participate in partner board meetings, including recording minutes, and assist in marketing new projects to potential partners
  • Collaborate with other teams to build out effective document retention policies and electronic file structure



What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Environmental, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or related field, with an emphasis in contracts management
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in the energy sector (oil, gas, energy, or power)
  • Ability to interpret complex contracts and accounting rules, with the analytical mindset to recommend solutions
  • Understanding of power facility operations and economics, and familiarity with commercial energy agreements-such as Limited Liability Company Agreement (LLCA), Joint Venture Management Agreement (JVMA), Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA), Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), Operations, Maintenance, and Administration (OMA), and Asset Management Agreement (AMA)-is a plus
  • Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and financial statements is a plus
  • Demonstrated project management skills for cross-organizational coordination, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-starter, results-driven, and comfortable working with limited direction; proactive and value-focused
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail; ability to work constructively with internal and external parties; collaborative interpersonal skills in team-based environments



Additional Details



  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy in the Houston, TX office and is not open for remote work
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Must be available to travel domestically from time to time to attend board meetings or site visits, as appropriate up to 10% and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Works well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented organization with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy



Compensation

Salary Range: $88,800 - $136,045 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
