DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this Clerk 3 position, you will be a Scheduler for our Transportation Department. This is responsible clerical and technical work that involves scheduling, coordination, and support of the transportation services we provide to Wayne County residents who qualify for our programs. Duties includes preparing driver manifests, maintaining consumer and trip data, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and supporting daily operations in a courteous and organized manner. Our team will rely on you to complete all work in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, and County policies. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position may have irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
- This position will have some travel in and out of county for meetings.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerk 2, and education development to the level of high school; or
- One year of progressively complex clerical experience and completion of high school; or
- Six months of moderately complex clerical experience and completion of a post high school business curriculum; or
- Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges and abilities.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
