DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position leads electrical and construction work that supports hatchery operations and facility upkeep across northern Pennsylvania. As a Medium Voltage Electrician Foreman, you will perform the following duties:
- Project Planning: Coordinate electrical and infrastructure projects, develop plans, and manage materials and permits
- Employee Supervision: Direct trades staff, assign tasks, and complete performance evaluations
- Electrical Work: Oversee installation and repair of electrical systems ranging from 110V to medium voltage up to 600V
- Construction Tasks: Guide crews in concrete work, trenching, equipment operation, and facility repairs
- Technical Coordination: Work with engineers on project designs, inspections, and final approvals

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Medium Voltage Electrician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Six years of journey-level experience in the electrical trade, including one year of experience in medium voltage electrical work; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training, which includes one year of experience in medium voltage electrical work.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
