Overview

In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced, SAFe Agile environment with a diverse, high-performing team that possesses a true passion for technology, transformation, and outcomes. As a Senior Manager & Product Owner, you will set direction, inspire teams, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and outcomes-driven delivery. You will play a critical role in the evolution of Waters' Salesforce platform, harnessing the power of cloud, big data, and AI for the changing future of Waters field operations across Marketing, Sales and Service.

The Salesforce Product Owner owns the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Waters' Salesforce.com implementation. This role partners closely with executive and senior management stakeholders across Waters to define and communicate a clear short- and long-term strategic vision that aligns platform capabilities with enterprise priorities. As a people and platform leader, the Senior Manager & Product Owner provides direction to product, delivery, and partner teams; develops talent and manages a team of Business Analysts ensuring effective operating models, governance, and prioritization are in place.

The Product Owner drives enterprise-scale transformation by leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that span business units and geographies, managing dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs across the portfolio. They are accountable for platform value realization, balancing strategic investments, operational excellence, and continuous innovation. This includes overseeing roadmap execution, influencing decisions and establishing metrics to measure business outcomes, adoption, and platform performance. Through strong executive presence and change leadership, the Product Owner rallies stakeholders around a shared vision and continuously evolves Salesforce capabilities based on user needs, product performance insights, and emerging platform technologies.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Product Vision and Strategy: In partnership with Business Architects, provide strategic oversight to help define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Salesforce, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features and enhancements are delivered.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Drive roadmap alignment and successful delivery of features by partnering with global stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into actionable solutions, and ensure expectations are met through a customercentric approach and industry best practices.
  • Agile Development: Realize vision and communicate requirements to scrum team by translating into actionable user stories, prioritization and product value metrics. Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize measurable KPI's to monitor and analyze the performance of Salesforce solutions, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of business analysts, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the successful completion of project. Act as a mentor, offering coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and career growth.

Required Skills:

  • Lead enterprise-wide CRM strategy and roadmap (Salesforce), aligning global, cross-functional business needs.
  • Deep understanding of the buyer's journey and end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation through close.
  • Articulate a clear, compelling vision and translate it into prioritized, actionable deliverables.
  • Demonstrate strong business judgment to identify, prioritize, and drive the highest-impact platform enhancements.
  • Make timely, effective decisions that maintain momentum and move the organization forward.
  • Partner cross-functionally to make sound product and platform design decisions grounded in business needs, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with IT to define solutions, estimate effort, and manage dependencies, risks, and constraints.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and resolve complex challenges.
  • Influence and lead stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, IT, and related functions without direct authority.
  • Build trusted relationships and foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
  • Navigate complex negotiations and resolve conflicts constructively and efficiently.


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in CRM programs, preferably Salesforce.com in an IT or business operations role
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a Sales, Marketing or Service operations role
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
  • Agile/Scrum Product Owner certification or equivalent experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile process management tools such as JIRA required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
