Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Setup and Maintenance of all part numbers in MRP system including but not limited to BOM's, Routings, Costs, Standards,Laborand Overhead.


  • Responsible for quoting of all new parts and Engineering changes within deadlines.


  • Maintenance and updating of all ECN's/PLMrequests.


  • Audit for proper cycle times,machineandlabor.


  • Lead team feasibility studies for new parts/this includes material quotes, working with engineering to get tooling quotes, all while using the current overhead standards in the system.


  • Setup for all Sample and PPAP parts in MRP.Entering of Manufacturing build requirements and product process flow functionality of MRP system and interaction of various processes.


  • Prepare estimates of new or proposed product costs.


  • Month end quoting reports.


  • Perform anyadditionalduties assigned by the manager to support departmental or organizational needs.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor'sdegree preferred(or equivalent experience)


  • 5+ years of Manufacturing/Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience preferred


  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time


  • Ability to work under and meet deadline constraints


  • Ability to workflexible schedule aswork loaddictates


  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills


  • Must understand the manufacturing systems and the parameters needed to accurately track and measure performance for a given part


  • Good communicationskills to communicate with customers, suppliers, and Dana personnel


  • Continuousimprovement mindset


  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer specifications, technical procedures, and regulations


  • Familiar with or able to learnPLM


  • Ability to learn customer databases


  • Ability to do mathematical conversions using multiple units of measure


  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/SAP/PLM/Autocad
