Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting efficient production operations through the safe movement, loading, unloading, stacking, and storage of materials within the facility. The position may also assist with inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, ensuring all tasks are performed in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements while contributing to a productive and organized work environment.

- Support Operational Goals: Collaborate with team members to drive productivity, safety, quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Maintain Safety & Housekeeping Standards: Uphold a clean, organized work environment while adhering to all plant health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Manage Inventory Transactions: Accurately perform inventory transfers in and out of manufacturing and warehouse areas using RF scanning equipment, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently based on daily priorities.
- Coordinate with Shipping & Receiving: Partner closely with shipping and receiving teams to execute daily picking schedules and support material flow.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform and record cycle counts, assist with physical inventories, and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP), including scissor and boom lifts, as required.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned and maintain full compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Education and Experience Profile
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Experience operating powered industrial equipment required, specifically stand-up forklifts (reach trucks).
Required Skills
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to perform transactions in SAP.
- Strong organizational skills to accurately maintain paperwork and work documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
- Flexibility to work across multiple shifts based on business needs.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Willingness and ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to hearing protection, safety glasses, respirators, and steel-toed shoes.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including reach trucks (stand-up forklifts), forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns.
Work Environment
This role operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring comfort around production equipment, varying temperatures, and adherence to all safety and PPE requirements.
