As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Braintree, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support the public with strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and following post orders for restricted areas.
• Support transportation-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance to the public, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
