Job Description


This position is located in Arctic Region Test Center (ARTC), Fort Greely, AK. ATRC is responsible for planning and executing test and evaluation programs involving military weapons systems and equipment. Duties include: utilizing the Army Maintenance Management System, (TAMMS), to schedule required maintenance on equipment, and maintain adequate inventory levels of related class IX parts. Perform duties to include order and receipt, cataloging, storage, inventory and property accountability. Will also be responsible for vehicle dispatch, key control, tool room, and maintaining library of pertinent manuals and regulations.

Pay Rate:$31.06

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

* Must be a U.S. Citizen.

* Must possess a valid driver's license.

* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance prior to hire and maintain it through employment with TRAX.

* Must have a degree OR equivalent work experience/certifications OR applicable military training (experience will be evaluated by hiring manager).

Physical Requirements:

* Must demonstrate capability to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.

* Must be able to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the course of the workday.

* Must be able to work long and varied hours in extreme weather conditions.

* Must be capable of frequent squatting, crouching, and stooping.

* Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

* Basic computer skills.

* Excellent communication skills, (oral and written), and work well with others.

* Self motivated, and work with little or no supervision.

* Able to operate standard office equipment.

* Excellent organizational skills.

* Previous experience as a TAMMS clerk.
