The pay range for this position is $52,000 - $60,000 based on direct and relevant experience.

This is a great opportunity for candidates new to HR and Talent Acquisition.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing and evaluating candidates and their resumes/applications against position requirements. This role collaborates closely with hiring managers and the responsible HR Manager (Sr Business Partner) throughout the recruitment process and proactively provides support to RAYUS Operations and Departments as assigned to ensure new team members meet the requirements and competencies for role and are the best fit for organizational values and culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(85%) Recruitment



  1. Proactively seek out and participate in strategic recruitment and candidate pipeline opportunities for the organization, i.e., participation in networking activities, career fairs, regular engagement on social media sites, and related professional organizations
  2. Incorporate best practice recruitment strategies to effectively and efficiently source candidates and fill positions; sources potential candidates internally and externally through a variety of channels
  3. Consistently complete the new requisition intake process to ensure the hiring manager(s) understands the recruitment process and any/all activities related to the hiring and onboarding of new team members
  4. Thoroughly screen, interview and evaluate candidates to determine their qualifications and suitability for positions
  5. Ensure newly hired team members have the required competencies and meet the education and experience requirements for the role, and also align with the organizational values and culture
  6. Discuss alternate recruitment strategies with appropriate individuals in a timely and proactive manner
  7. Monitor sourcing data, time-to-fill, cost-per-hire and other criteria to ensure that key success factors and benchmarks are being met
  8. Effectively use the applicant tracking system for optimal efficiently and functionality
  9. Initiate offer letters
  10. Assist with background checks as needed


(10%) Human Resources Department Support



  1. Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems
  2. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures, and process improvements to effectively impact continual improvements and efficiencies of the HR department and performed services
  3. Participate in HR Strategic goal projects related to recruiting
  4. Complete and submit all invoices in an accurate and timely manner; follows up with A/P as required
  5. Ensures policies, procedures and reporting related to recruiting are compliant with legal requirements and government reporting regulations
  6. Keep current on human resources best practices, trends and developments by establishing professional affiliations and participating in professional activities, i.e. seminars, conferences, reading appropriate books and journals


(5%) Other Duties and Projects as Assigned

Required:




  1. High School Diploma, or equivalent
  2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field, or the equivalent in relevant and applicable experience
  3. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Windows and Office Suite; Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  4. Some travel may be required; a reliable means of transportation is required.
  5. Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance is required for the team member to personally drive a vehicle for company business (regardless of whether it's a company or personal vehicle)


Preferred:



  1. Two (2) years' recruitment experience
  2. Recruitment experience in health care field
  3. PHR or SHRM certification
  4. Experience using ADP, or other HR Information System (HRIS)
  5. Knowledge of social recruitment techniques
