As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Lexington, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic tech and telecommunications location. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations, remaining prepared to respond to security-related concerns and/or requests for assistance.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support visitor and vehicle screening processes to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
