Professors Richard Lee, Patricia Frazier, and Alex Ajayi are seeking a Research Associate to assist with their independent and collaborative research projects. The research associate will be primarily supervised by Professor Lee, but will work with all three faculty and take work direction from the other two, as appropriate. The Research Associate will be responsible for leading research projects under the direction of each faculty with priority given to data management, statistical analysis, and manuscript writing. Current research projects include a meta-analysis of the relationship between workplace violence and well-being among healthcare workers and studies of the relations between childhood trauma and sexual risk behaviors (Frazier); longitudinal study on impact of COVID-19 and racialized violence during COVID-19, social identities, discrimination, and adjustment in college students, and cultural, ethnic, and racial experiences of international adoptees and families (Lee); and a longitudinal study of identity and well-being and a mixed-methods study of ethical, legal, and social implications of emerging biomedical technologies (Ajayi). The faculty also are interested in developing new collaborative projects. Appointment will be made at 75%-time, ending July 31, 2027. The work environment will primarily be in-person, with some flexibility for limited hybrid work. Please note, this position is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card sponsorship. About the Department of Psychology The Department of Psychology is one of the largest departments within the College of Liberal Arts, and is a highly ranked department nationally.
