This position will support government accounts. POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sr Specialist - Corp Local provides advanced analytical and execution support to the Corporate Local team, with a focus on identifying account level risk indicators and resolving operational or technical barriers that impact retained volume and sustained activation. This role serves as a key support partner to Advisors and Corporate Account Management by translating data into actionable insights.

Operating with greater independence than the Specialist role, the Sr Specialist evaluates shipment trends, supports customer and facility level issue resolution, and contributes to proactive intervention efforts designed to prevent freight erosion. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze shipment, activation, and service performance data to identify erosion risk and execution gaps.
  • Compare actual shipped volume to committed levels established during the most recent pricing or onboarding.
  • Identify root causes of under activation and support corrective actions to improve volume pull through.
  • Provide data driven insights, summaries, and recommendations to Advisors and CAM partners.
  • Support customer outreach related to service concerns, activation sustainment, and routing guide adherence.
  • Collaborate with Operations to investigate service breakdowns, capacity constraints, and freight quality concerns.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and adoption of customer technology tools and system integrations.
  • Help simplify customer execution by resolving process, system, or operational barriers that prevent full utilization of FedEx Freight services.
  • Identify unusual or inefficient freight characteristics and communicate handling and packaging best practices.
  • Prepare clear documentation of account risks, corrective actions, and resolution outcomes.
  • Support implementation of new processes, tools, or service initiatives across assigned accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
