Job Description

Job Title: Technical Program Mgr. III - Dry Etch Analytics

Job Location: Tokyo Electron America, Inc., 3188 NE Aloclek Dr., Hillsboro, OR 97124

Duties: Lead the strategic development and implementation of advanced digital solutions, focusing on sensor data analytics, machine learning (ML)/artificial intelligence (AI), and digital twin technologies to ensure the company is optimizing semiconductor etch processes, enhancing equipment performance, and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives for strategic U.S. customers.

Responsibilities include managing the complete lifecycle of digital solution development, from conceptualization and detailed design through to successful deployment and continuous improvement. This involves close collaboration with global engineering and manufacturing teams, primarily based in Japan, to ensure alignment and effective integration.

Direct and regular communication with U.S. customers is essential to thoroughly understand their specific operational needs, present tailored and effective digital solutions, and ensure seamless integration and user adoption.

Traveling to the company's Japanese headquarters and manufacturing facilities for collaboration and project oversight, as well as travel to customer sites in the U.S. and Europe for engagement and solution implementation

Accountability for project success includes overseeing project schedules, managing allocated budgets, and ensuring all project deliverables are completed on time and within resource constraints.

Travel requirements: Domestic and international travel required (10 %)

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Science or a related field PLUS 8 (eight) years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, strategy planning, business forecasting, project management, or related experience.

Skills requirement:

Experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Python for developing and deploying solutions leveraging machine learning and data analytics.

Experience strategically planning and evaluating technical solutions aligned with business needs, translating customer requirements, and communicating the value of technical solutions to stakeholders.

Experience managing technical projects, including planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication (including international teams), ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.

Experience creating technical documentation and presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience working with Japanese business.

Experience working on international teams.

Experience analyzing datasets to extract key insights, visualize data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Experience communicating the value proposition of technical solutions to various audiences based on the understanding of technology marketing.
