PC Deployment / Desktop Support Technician - Milwaukee Area Description We're looking for a handson PC Deployment / Desktop Support Technician to support device refresh and deployment efforts across the Milwaukee area. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working directly with end users, setting up new equipment, and keeping deployments running smoothly in a healthcare environment. You'll be responsible for imaging, deploying, and troubleshooting laptops and desktops while providing onsite support to clinical and nonclinical staff. Strong attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to work independently are key to success in this role. Key Responsibilities * Perform laptop and desktop refresh and deployment tasks, including setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting * Provide onsite technical support to staff during PC deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to daytoday operations * Track equipment inventory and document service requests and deployments accurately * Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently * Follow established IT standards, security guidelines, and internal procedures Qualifications * Previous experience in PC deployment, field services, or desktop/technical support * Strong customer service and communication skills, especially when working with nontechnical users * Detailoriented with solid organizational and documentation skills * Selfmotivated and able to manage tasks independently across multiple locations * Familiarity with healthcare or enterprise IT environments is a plus but not required Education & Experience * Prior experience supporting or deploying computers in a professional environment preferred Working Conditions * Primarily supporting locations in the Milwaukee area, with occasional travel to other sites as needed * Must be able to lift, move, and set up computer equipment Skills PC Deployment * Desktop Support * Installation * Troubleshooting * Hardware Setup * EndUser Support Additional Skills & Qualifications * Strong timemanagement skills in a fastpaced environment * Adaptability and comfort handling changing priorities * Clear verbal and written communication for documentation and support * Ability to work well with IT teams and onsite staff * Basic networking knowledge and security awareness Intermediate Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
