Description Job Title: Assembly Technician Location: On-site - Melbourne, FL Employment Type: Temp to Direct Industry: Aviation Compensation: $25.00-$28.00/hr Shift: 2nd Schedule: M-F, 3:30 PM-12:00 AM About the Opportunity: Join a hands-on, high-impact team where you'll build and refine complex mechanical and electronic assemblies that support critical aviation systems. In this role, you'll work from detailed technical data to assemble, test, and troubleshoot components while ensuring strict adherence to quality and regulatory standards. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High School Diploma or GED. 2-4 years of experience in aviation or aerospace assembly 2-4 years of experience in assembly of aircraft structures 2-4 years of experience using tech data and aircraft drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs What Sets You Apart: Good decision-making and leadership skills. Experience with avionics and flight controls. Proficient in riveting, installing related hardware, using precision instruments, and utilizing hand tools to perform these tasks. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen. Ability to work different shifts and flexible hours if needed.
