Location: Palatine, IL (Hybrid)

Classification: Full-Time, Exempt

Work Schedules: Standard business hours; requires flexibility for

frequent domestic and international business travel as required by the

organization.

Summary

This role is with a premier

global leader in power conversion technology, specializing in high-performance

power semiconductors and advanced power supply electronics. The organization is

seeking a Lead Professional to act as the primary contact window for key

accounts. They will be responsible for driving business expansion through

strategic market research, exploring new customer segments, and developing

innovative product opportunities. This position is vital for maintaining the

company's competitive edge and ensuring continuous growth through sophisticated

account servicing.

Essential Duties and

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Performs comprehensive research and marketing to

    execute new business development. They develop and implement sales

    strategies to achieve organizational goals in collaboration with internal

    sales teams.
  • Assists in developing primary market research,

    competitive evaluations, and fit analyses to align opportunities with the

    organization's long-term goals.
  • Plans and schedules visits to assigned customers

    to gather intelligence, generate opportunities, and conduct in-depth

    technical presentations.
  • Coordinates and participates in promotional

    activities, including trade shows, conventions, and industry exhibitions.
  • Stays abreast of industry news, competitor

    products, and market shifts, reporting findings to management to identify

    new business avenues.
  • Communicates with Field Application Engineers and

    corporate engineering teams to prepare product-related information that

    facilitates strategic marketing.
  • Identifies key decision-makers and manages the

    sales pipeline to drive new opportunities toward commercial success.
  • Builds and maintains sustainable relationships

    with assigned clients through consistent communication and an on-site

    presence across purchasing, engineering, and quality assurance

    departments.
  • Negotiates prices and contract terms with

    customers and suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.



Qualifications



  • 5-8 years of professional experience in sales,

    account management, and technical products.
  • In-depth working knowledge of power conversion

    products, such as semiconductors and power supply electronics.
  • Strong ability to interpret sales performance

    data and market trends to develop high-level strategies.
  • Ability to deliver persuasive presentations to

    executive-level counterparts; must be fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay on task and follow

    through on assignments to completion without close supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word,

    Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25-30% of the

    time for external client meetings and business trips.


The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
