Rental Works is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and cultivating a book of business, servicing existing customers, and procuring new customers.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in outside sales in the equipment or construction industry. He/she will be an expert communicator with success in negotiation and will be highly motivated to help our company continue to grow. Some attributes we believe a candidate should have are: high resiliency, high internal drive to succeed, strong multitasking ability, and excellent follow-up skills.

  • Manage a book of business and sales territory daily.
  • Locate and secure new business via cold calling and other methods of developing leads.
  • Enhance and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Stay in constant contact with existing customers.
  • Develop, plan, and organize sales strategies to achieve optimal results.
  • Identify and forecast customer needs and product offerings.
  • Demonstrate the functions and uses of the products or services to customers.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to provide excellent customer service.
  • Understand the market conditions and the competitive landscape to maximize profitability.
  • Report sales activity and efforts to management and the sales team
