What You Will Do:

The Manager Commercial Operations - Process & Project Management is responsible for the execution of process and commercial projects that increase the top and bottom-line revenue stream of PPD brands within SalonCentric and State RDa. This includes the standardizing of Commercial Team Operating Procedures and the management of commercial projects. The Manager Commercial Operations will partner with the Commercial, Marketing & Education teams to align on effective process and project execution, while ensuring that their SalonCentric business partners are aligned and able to provide feedback for success. This role will collaborate with the Managers of Business Development and SalonCentric business partners to strengthen the relationships of the PPD Brands with SalonCentric, State RDa and our stylist community, ensuring consistency in execution and optimized channel support. The Manager Commercial Operations will be responsible for sales performance of PPD Brands nationally by executing process and project management to enable our sales teams to gain incremental growth through increased efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of PPD Commercial Team standard operating procedures, depicting a process and its workflow to clarify its steps, stakeholders and interdependencies with other business processes.
  • Execution of employee recognition and swag programs based on PPD and distributor initiatives, business needs and KPI's to increase sales team engagement and drive top and bottom-line performance for PPD.
  • Management of PPD Commercial Team projects, planning the short-term and long-term actions and continuously updating and prioritizing them to achieve strategic objectives while meeting deadlines.
  • Working effectively with supporting data for processes and projects, interpreting data insights, patterns and trends, and communicating outcomes to a diverse audience.
  • Develop and foster relationships with SalonCentric and State RDa business partners, PPD Commercial and Brand Teams. Contributing to a common goal while ensuring the ability of others to do the same in a caring environment.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales/business development within a big box retail and/or chain model, preferably with beauty, professional salon products or retail background.
  • Experience with process mapping and project management, preferably PMP Certified.
  • Proven ability to adapt to quickly evolving business needs and encourage cooperation in a complex, multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including Power Point, Excel and Word.
  • Ability and interest in extensive travel (Up to 20%) and work weekends as needed
  • An undergraduate degree or commensurate professional experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contagious enthusiasm for the Professional Beauty Industry.
  • Experience with Omni-channel distribution models
  • High sense of urgency, accountability, and organization.
