Job Summary:

The Tax Administrative Coordinator executes tax administration processes as directed by the Tax Administration Manager in compliance with firm policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and international jurisdictions.

This is a variable hybrid role that may require on-site support, based on location and office needs.

Job Duties:



  • Supports tax specific software, tools, and applications
  • Assists with implementation of new tax standards and procedures
  • Assists with training administrative and tax professionals on tax administration processes and procedures
  • Works with Tax Administration Manager to ensure administrative and tax professionals are following tax standards and procedures
  • Identifies issues related to tax systems and processes and consults with Tax Administration Manager on recommended solutions
  • Produces reports from data provided with basic analysis to support firm processes
  • Builds positive working relationships with local tax and administrative professionals.
  • Completes required technical training courses and proactively stays up to date on firm applications, processes, and procedures utilizing all firm provided resources.
  • Other local office maintenance support as needed
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:



  • High school diploma, required
  • Associate or Bachelor degree, preferred


Experience:



  • Three (3) or more years of experience in tax administration role, required
  • Experience in a professional services firm, required


License/Certifications:



  • N/A


Software:



  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, required
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software experience, preferred


Language:



  • N/A

  • Good judgment and strong reasoning skills
  • Knowledge of tax deadlines, tax forms, and tax processes and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate with diverse personalities in a tactful and mature manner
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and professionally in high demand situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on various projects simultaneously


Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $35.00/hr - $42.00/hr
Colorado Range: $28.00/hr - $32.00/hr
Maryland Range: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Washington Range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
