Summary: Reporting to the Product Design Engineer Senior, the Product Design Engineer designs new products and/or develops product improvements based on Sales/Marketing functional specifications by applying engineering principles and Finite Element Analysis.The incumbent must be able to do machine design analysis for force, stress, and deflection of product components and understand the design of machine components such as rolling element bearings, bushings, cams, helical worm gear drives, and bolted joints/connections. Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related work experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee for successful performance of the essential functions of this job. The employee is normally seated; however, the nature of the work allows for periods of standing or walking at will. Work Environment: Works majority of the day in a climate-controlled environment, except for occasionally performing work on the manufacturing floor, which is subject to moderate changes in temperature. The manufacturing environment is subject to moderate changes in temperature, and the employee will be exposed to typical hazards of noise, flying debris, and overhead hazards requiring the use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Work Arrangement : Onsite Pay Range: $94,000.00 - $110,000.00annually Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
