WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Siloam Springs, AR plant, you will serve as a Mechanical Engineer II.



The Mechanical Engineer partners with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to support equipment reliability, process improvements, and day-to-day plant operations. This role provides engineering support for maintenance and production activities while assisting with capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.



The Mechanical Engineer will bring a practical, hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting plant operations, and helping implement improvements that enhance safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Support plant operations by partnering with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve technical challenges
  • Assist with capital projects, including scope development, vendor coordination, installation support, startup activities, and project tracking
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, equipment uptime, and operational efficiency
  • Aid in maintaining equipment documentation, engineering records, and spare parts information to support plant reliability
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to identify reliability improvements and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support equipment repairs, maintenance activities, and project execution
  • Participate in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities utilizing tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies
  • Provide engineering support for equipment modifications, upgrades, and overall plant improvement initiatives
  • Assist in evaluating equipment performance and recommend practical solutions to improve reliability, efficiency, and productivity

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field required
  • 2 + years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Basic project coordination and project support experience preferred
  • Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D
  • Working knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD, preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a hands-on approach to supporting plant operations
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship
