Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through receiving, stocking, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift and order picker to move materials, pull customer and truck orders, and load outbound shipments. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, material handling skills, and the ability to work safely at elevated heights in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Put away inbound materials accurately and efficiently using material handling equipment.
  • Pull and prepare truck orders and customer pickup orders according to established procedures.
  • Stage and organize materials for shipment or customer pickup.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and order pickers to move, retrieve, and store materials.
  • Work at heights up to 50 feet while operating warehouse equipment and retrieving inventory.
  • Verify order accuracy prior to shipment or customer pickup.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock handling and organization.
  • Ensure warehouse materials are stored safely and securely.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory-related activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Support additional warehouse operations and duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 1 year of recent warehouse experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of order picker experience required.
  • Ability to work comfortably at heights up to 50 feet.
  • Forklift operating experience required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, pull, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.


Education



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 1 year of recent warehouse experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift operating experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of order picker experience required.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling preferred.
  • Experience pulling, staging, and loading orders preferred.
  • Experience working in warehouse, distribution, or logistics environments preferred.
