Location Profile:

Aerospace Dynamics International, Inc. (ADI) in Valencia, CA, manufactures machined parts and assemblies for the commercial and military aerospace industries. It offers structural components, caps, panels, bulkheads, fittings, longerons, spars, chords, wing ribs, thrust reversers, structural machine parts, manufacturing tooling and stretch form blocks.

ADI was acquired by PCC in April 2014. The company has received significant capital investments since the acquisition and has a highly positive growth trajectory ahead. Comprising seven facilities on its campus in Valencia, CA, ADI has over 240 full-time employees on staff.

Position Summary:

Working with minimal supervision, Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for a broad range of Accounts Payable processes, which includes maintaining vendor relationships, processing check requests and reports, and reconciling invoices. This is an onsite full-time position.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process check requests and expense reports on a regular basis
  • Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices in Nimbello and in Syteline
  • Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Address and respond to vendor inquiries
  • Process payments in the system, including entering wires in JP Morgan
  • Confirm intercompany balances during month-end
  • Create, track and audit Non-Standard Terms requests
  • Review vendor statements on a monthly basis
  • Work with vendors to get them set-up with ACH payments
  • Take advantage of discounts when financially sound
  • Accrue invoices not received or vouchered after month-end
  • Provide other accounting-related functions as necessary

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Must be willing and able to work in a team environment and must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities

Required Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience with accounts payable or general accounting

Level of Education:

  • GED or High School diploma required
  • Associate's degree in accounting preferred

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $23.75 to $43.25 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
