EMDR THERAPIST (CONTRACT)

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate is certified or trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and experienced in working with individuals who present with trauma histories, anxiety, PTSD, and other related concerns. This role allows for autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to provide highquality therapeutic services in a supportive environment. The Therapist will:

• Provide individual EMDR therapy to clients in accordance with EMDRIA standards.
• Monitor clinical progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to support holistic client care.
• Ensure ethical practice aligned with state regulations, licensure requirements, and professional codes of conduct.
• Participate in periodic case consultations and clinical meetings (as required).
• Utilize evidencebased modalities in conjunction with EMDR when clinically appropriate.
• Protect confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and organizational privacy guidelines.

Contract Details

• Compensation: $100 a Session
• Hours: Flexible scheduling based on contractor availability.
• Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (not eligible for employee benefits).
• Caseload: Based on availability; client assignments determined by organizational needs.

Education: Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field. EMDR Certification required.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of postlicensure clinical experience working with trauma populations.

Licensure: Active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist).

Additional Requirements:

• Strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and traumainformed care principles.
• Proficiency in EMDR protocols, phases, and clinical application
• Experience with complex trauma, dissociation, or cooccurring disorders.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and demonstrate cultural competence.
