The Combustion Turbine Technician is an entry level position and is responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems, controlling routine plant operations, responding to alarms and abnormal conditions by taking appropriate corrective actions as directed by Control Room Operator, and performs basic routine maintenance duties. The position will assist in plant shutdown and start-up procedures as required and assures that the plant meets its generating requirements while operating in a safe and efficient manner. The Combustion Turbine Technician carries out tasks in accordance with Plant Operating and Maintenance procedures and associated vendor and manufacturer technical procedures. This position operates from established and well-known procedures, performing duties as directed, encountering recurring work situations which can be highly complex, occasional variations from the norm. The base salary range for this position is $66,320- $99,480. The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition the position may be eligible to participate in the benefits program which include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending accounts.
