Starting Rate of pay:
$21.52/hour

Shifts Available and Hours:
2nd Shift
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Training will also be completed on 2nd shift.

Shift Premium:
$1.50/hour extra for 2nd shift

What you will be doing



  • Work on the Extrusion Press Line and communicate and work effectively with fellow employees.
  • Operate the saw and stretching equipment safely and productively while following work instructions and maintaining quality standards.
  • Inspect material for squareness, flatness, bow, gauge and other specifications using micrometers, calipers, straight edges and gauges.
  • Perform simple maintenance and troubleshoot common equipment issues to maintain safe and productive saw operations.
  • Cross-train and provide backup support for the Press Operator and Head Stretcher as required.

Required Education/Experience:



  • No prior work-related experience required.



Preferred Skills/Qualifications:



  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to read and understand process sheets and follow detailed written instructions.
  • Ability to follow all work and safety instructions.
  • Ability to work long hours in seasonal temperatures.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.


  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset.
  • Forklift, Combi or other mobile equipment operating experience is an asset.
  • Ability to use a calculator and read a tape measure.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable and eager to learn and grow.
  • Ability to safely operate production equipment and troubleshoot common equipment issues.
  • Willingness to learn and cross-train on multiple production functions.
