Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Strategic Communications Analyst to work out of Arlington, VA in supporting the OPNAV N4 Strategic Action Group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



  • Actively manage and track taskers for N4 Strategic Action Group using Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
  • Provide support to the N4 Strategic Action Group in development of Navy, OSW, Congressional and public-facing briefing materials, testimony products, responses to congressional requests and talking points.
  • Assist in the development of the communication strategy, key messages, and briefing materials for Navy senior leaders for the purpose of making critical decisions on Navy's investment strategy that support Navy's designated missions and war fighting capability.
  • Plan and conduct meetings for senior Navy leadership and external stakeholders in high visibility engagements.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the military and/or providing support to a comparable organization.
  • Ability to coordinate and track numerous efforts simultaneously.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Strong team-building and writing / oral communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate executive-level communication and professionalism when interacting with senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Navy organizational structure.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into meaningful presentations and decision briefs for senior leadership.
  • Working knowledge of legislative and budget processes.
  • Prior experience using or ETMS2 or a comparable tasker management system.
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field


REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Secret

TRAVEL: 10%
